The Ageing Mind

For the ageing mind, technological advances are set to have an unprecedented impact upon pathological processes. Technologies as diverse as pharmaceuticals, stem cell therapy and deep brain stimulation are widening the therapeutic options and interventions available in a clinical setting. Many of these medical technologies have the potential to cross over into lifestyle products, such as drugs which can enhance cognition or delete memories, or implants to augment our ability to interact with each other, computers, or our environment.
